How to Cook Bone Broth
One of the best things about bone broth is its versatility. Our favorite way to use it is just as it is, warmed up in a mug. Bone Broth makes a fantastic alternative to coffee or tea. Not only that, but its protein content makes it an excellent choice for a snack between meals. We love using our bone broth as a base for our soups, stews, and sauces. It's also a great nutrient-rich substitution for liquids in smoothies, when making rice and pasta; you can even add it to cocktails!
Ingredients
- Any Organic Bonafide Bone Broth
Instructions
- To cook from frozen: For best results, remove your bone broth from freezer and thaw in refrigerator for 24 hours. Once defrosted open and poor desired amount of broth into a small stockpot. Heat over medium heat until you reach a simmer, stirring occasionally.
- To quick thaw: Place your frozen bone broth - still sealed in plastic bag - in a bowl or sink of hot water for 5 to 10 minutes, or until it can be broken into pieces. Open the bag; invert contents into a small stockpot and follow above instructions.
- Then to heat, we recommend using a stove to gently heat your bone broth to your desired temperature.
