How to Cook a Thick-Cut Pork Chop

Ingredients

  • Pork Chop
  • Oil
  • Salt & pepper
  • Butter
  • Garlic
  • Your favorite herbs

Instructions

  1. Remove your thawed pork chop from the packaging and place it on a cutting board.
  2. Drizzle both sides with oil and season both sides with salt and pepper.
  3. Heat oil in a pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Place pork chop into the pan once hot.
  5. Sear for 3-4 minutes, undisturbed.
  6. Add butter, garlic and herbs to the hot pan.
  7. Flip and baste with juices.
  8. Cook for 3 minutes then remove from heat. Internal temperature should be 155 degrees F.
  9. Let your pork chop rest, covered with foil, for 5 minutes.
  10. Slice and enjoy!
