For over 65 years, SeaBear Smokehouse has created unforgettable seafood experiences to share as meals, when entertaining, or when giving a gift, all direct from the heart of the Pacific Northwest.
Small Batch Artisan Approach
At SeaBear Smokehouse, we do everything in small batches for the highest possible quality and care. We cure by hand, trim by hand and small-batch smoke using our proprietary secret blend of hardwoods and fruitwoods, for a uniquely well-balanced flavor that truly celebrates the seafood and helps all its wonderful flavor shine through.
Rich in Pacific Northwest Heritage
Founded in 1957 by local fisherman Tom Savidge and his wife Marie, SeaBear has been handcrafting smoked salmon in the waterfront community of Anacortes, Washington – the very heart of the Pacific Northwest -- for over 65 years. We proudly celebrate the centuries-old history of smoked salmon from this region, one of the world’s truly great regional food traditions. The Pacific Northwest is home to some of the most spectacular seafood on the planet, and we are proud to turn that amazing seafood into unforgettable seafood experiences to be enjoyed all across the country.
Responsibly Sourced
SeaBear is dedicated to responsible sourcing, to ensure the amazing seafood of our region stays bountiful for generations to come. We source virtually all our wild seafood from the extremely well-managed fisheries of Alaska, and a number of our products carry the MSC (Marine Stewardship Council) certification.
